MR. AUTOBOT RANDY RONALD M. LAO INSTALLED AS WORSHIPFUL MASTER OF EMILIO AGUINALDO MASONIC LODGE NO. 31 | Motourismo

Autobot Offroad PH President & Chief Executive Officer Randy Ronald M. Lao was installed as the Worshipful Master of Emilio Aguinaldo Masonic Lodge No. 31 for Masonic Year 2025 during solemn ceremonies held on February 7, 2025 at Angel Fields Nature Sanctuary in Silang, Cavite.

On the occasion of the 110th public installation of elected and appointed officers of the Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines, Autobot Offroad PH President & Chief Executive Officer Randy Ronald M. Lao was installed as the Worshipful Master of Emilio Aguinaldo Masonic Lodge No. 31 for Masonic Year 2025 during solemn ceremonies held on February 7, 2025 at Angel Fields Nature Sanctuary along Santa Rosa–Tagaytay Road in Silang, Cavite. Installed along with WM Randy Lao were Senior Warden Randy A. Ferraron, Junior Warden Carolino O. David, and the elected and appointed Lodge officers for MY2025.

During his acceptance speech, the youthful Lao, who’s known as “Mr. Autobot”, welcomed his responsibility as the Worshipful Master with a clear mind and an open heart inspired with the timeless principles that has guided Freemasonry for centuries: Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. He thanked his wife, Joanna Rumohr-Lao, for being his rock, partner and best friend and for her selfless unwavering support. He expressed his love for their children – Chescka, Jordan, Enyaki, Payton, Harper, and Quinito – all of whom he considers as his greatest blessings.

WM Randy Lao recalled his curiosity as a child when he first saw the square and compass, the symbol of Freemasonry, on the windshield of his grandfather’s car. His interest in the fraternity took a backseat while he was growing up but when he established his business, his passion for Freemasonry was rekindled. Incidentally, the logo for Autobot Offroad PH looked similar to the square and compass of the fraternity.

He became a Mason on August 7, 2018 and was raised to the sublime degree on July 31, 2019 when his passion and conviction to the Craft grew greater. He considered the VW John Sy Salazar as the catalyst of his journey in Freemasonry and thanked WB Tristan Reyes, who was the Junior Warden of the Lodge when Lao started petitioning. He warmly thanked WB TJ Reyes, who passed the gavel to Lao, and considered the outgoing WM as an icon of leadership.

WM Lao considers Emilio Aguinaldo Masonic Lodge No. 31 as more than just a Lodge but as family, where the brethren can build each other up, support one another, and strive to make the community and their selves better each day. He committed to “set the craft at work” and honor traditions, uphold principles, and lead with the values that define Freemasons.

He plans to promote unity, growth, and service while strengthening the bonds that tie each member as Brothers, ensuring that every member feels valued, heard, and supported. He vows to continue upholding the timeless rituals that connect to the rich heritage of Masonry while embracing opportunities for growth and innovation to remain relevant in today’s world.

He emphasized that the heart of his journey in Masonry is camaraderie through genuine fellowship and shared experiences among Brothers. He emphasized that the Lodge has been a source of wisdom and humility that he hopes will help guide his leadership. As the newly installed Worshipful Master, he admonished each member to continue as temple builders – not of stone and mortar, but of character and virtue.

“Each of us lays a block or brick in this great super structure, shaping it with our labor, refining it with our wisdom, and binding it with the cement of Brotherly Love. And just as our ancient brethren built temples to stand the test of time, so too must we, build this Lodge into something that will endure the test of time for generations to come”, he said.

Several off-road, overlanding and 4x4 Autobot-modified vehicles were displayed on the lawn of Angel Fields during the installation event in support of the President & CEO to the delight of the Lodge members and guests.
