The 2022 Hybrid National Food Fair Opens at SM Megamall Until June 5 | Motourismo
Billed as the biggest domestic trade event since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 Hybrid National Food Fair is scheduled from June 1-5 at the Megatrade Halls of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
All of the country’s 16 regions are represented, with 250 exhibitors showcasing their wares in the physical venue. Complementing this is the simultaneous virtual event on the Lazada e-commerce platform, which can be accessed at http://tinyurl.com/nationalfoodfaironlazada. At least 70 MSMEs are onboarded in the Hybrid National Food Fair on Lazada as they sell products through their permanent online stores.
Meanwhile, the Hybrid National Food Fair Sisidlan digital catalog will showcase more than 270 food entrepreneurs and their products in full color with direct access to their digital stores, social media links, and contact information. With the Sisidlan as a business matching tool, buyers and consumers can directly contact all MSME exhibitors of the HNFF for negotiations and order bookings. Sisidlan is available for download on this link: https://bit.ly/SISIDLAN.
The five-day order-taking, business-matching, and retail event showcases innovative and sustainable food products, unique and eco-friendly packaging materials, table and kitchen linens, tableware, kitchen utensils, cooking tools made of native materials, as well as dining room furniture and décor, plus essential items for the hotel and restaurant industry.
As the premier trade show for food entrepreneurs, the 2022 Hybrid National Food Fair includes special settings to elevate the food fair experience.
Show highlights include:
• Kusinang Filipino and Live Cooking Demonstrations
• Tara, Kain Tayo! Tablescape and Bar Special Setting
• PINASarap! Innovative Food Gallery
• #FlexPHridays Photo Wall Corner.
• KAPEtirya Philippine Coffee Pavilion
• Fresh Produce Pavilion

The formal opening is set for Wednesday, June 1, with key government officials and industry partners in attendance. From Thursday, June 2, to Sunday, June 5, there will be a daily program of business talks on the latest industry trends as well as seminars on government services that will provide MSMEs with additional information and resources to enhance their entrepreneurial journey. Food enthusiasts will enjoy the cooking demos and wine mixing shows. All the workshops are open to the public, and admission is free. For the online audience, the program activities will be streamed simultaneously on BDTP’s social media channels.
Notes Director Marievic Bonoan of the DTI-Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion, “After having endured the difficulties of the past two years, I am very happy to see that our MSMEs are back — better prepared to face the challenges ahead, and better equipped with new knowledge and skills to seize the opportunities of the hybrid, borderless marketplace.”
The 2022 Hybrid National Food Fair is organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Bureau of Domestic Trade Promotion (BDTP) in cooperation with the DTI Regional Operations Group (ROG).
