The All-New Mercedes-Benz GLB compact SUV was officially introduced in the Philippines through a virtual launch held at Facebook Live on August 15, 2020.
It marks the 8th model in the German luxury automaker’s success story of MFA (Modular Front Architecture), combining all the best factors from the former models, and becoming the first 7-seater in the Mercedes-Benz compact car family.

Versatility
The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLB is one of the the most versatile compact SUVs available in the Philippine market. It is an ideal car that can take you to new places and make old favorite roads feel fresh. It can take up to six of your friends for a road trip on a weekend or enjoy it for a drive around the metro for your“me-time”. It will do more than you expect to make every mile memorable.
Everything under control, even off the road. At the press of a button, DYNAMIC SELECT offers different drive programs with setting options for the engine, transmission, chassis and steering. In "Sport" mode the vehicle is more dynamic and in basic "Comfort" mode its setup is very balanced. "ECO", on the other hand, places the emphasis on maximum efficiency and saves fuel and money.
First 7-seater luxury
The all-new GLB offers unprecedented comfort being a versatile car with seating for up to seven. It is responsive, refined and comfortable enough to warrant its Mercedes badge and represent a clear advantage over non-luxury offerings.
It is the first compact vehicle of Mercedes-Benz that offers a third row, with two additional seats perfect for growing families. The extensive safety equipment includes retractable headrests, seat belts with belt tensioners, and a side window airbag, which also protects the passengers in the third seat row. Additionally, the GLB supplies ISOFIX and TOP-Tether anchorages for suitable child seats, and these can be used to attach up to four child seats in the rear.

Distinctive profile
The advanced, efficient 1.3L inline 4-cylinder engine pumps up power to 163hp. With all 250 lb-ft of torque on tap from just 1,520 rpm, you get quick response off the line, and for passing, merging and climbing. It has long wheelbase of 2,829mm and striking SUV design.
It comes equipped with a standard LED dynamic headlights. It can be dressed in sportier apparel through the AMG Line Package, with 19” 5 twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, side skirts painted in body color, polished aluminium roof rails and AMG Body Styling. It's a ruggedly handsome crossover that treads the line between form and function well.
On the inside, finely finished modern furnishings welcome the driver and the passengers. It boasts a luxurious Black Artico Dinamica microfiber seats.

Tell it, touch it, point to it, the GLB can hear you, and show you the way.MBUX can quietly respond to your touch as well, using a7inch standard central touchscreen that is also controlled by touchpad on the center console, steering wheel controls and natural-language commands.
Smartphone Integration merges the mobile phone with the infotainment system via Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto. This gives convenient access to the most important applications on your smartphone. You can also use apps from third-party service providers such as Spotify quickly and easily.
